Luis Marines tiene +6 años de experiencia trabajando como diseñador e investigador para proyectos de servicio y diseño estratégico en Argentina, Uruguay, Canadá, México y Reino Unido. Tiene una amplia experiencia en múltiples industrias abordando desafíos sociotecnológicos complejos y analizándolos para diseñar e implementar de manera colaborativa soluciones significativas e impactantes entregadas a escala.
 Marines tiene una formación transdisciplinaria en Diseño de la Comunicación Gráfica (UAM-A), Marketing Estratégico (UNNOBA), Complejidad Social (C3 - UNAM) y Diseño Estratégico (UBC), la cual le ha permitido trabajar con organizaciones innovadoras como INSITUM, Happy Cities, el&#38;nbsp;UBC Policy Studio y FJORD (ahora  Accenture Song).
 También se ha desempeñado como profesor en la Licenciatura de Mercadotecnia y Publicidad y en la Maestría en Estudios de Diseño en CENTRO, diseño &#124; cine &#124; televisión. Sus principales temas de investigación son el diseño sistémico, la complejidad visual, la movilización del conocimiento y la innovación en políticas públicas. Marines participa activamente en la academia, — ha presentado parte de sus investigaciones en ediciones del Relating Systems Thinking and Design Symposium y ha sido publicado por universidades mexicanas como la UNAM y la UAM.
